During its adolescence and youth, Judas was companion of Jesus. When Jesus began his public life, Judas left everything to follow him. San Judas is called Thadeus to differentiate him from Judas Iscariote that was the one that sold Jesus. The night of the Last Supper he asked to Jesus: "Why do you divulge your secrets to us and not to the world?". Jesus responded to him that this was because they loved Him and fulfilled their mandates and that to who loves and obeys him, they come the Father, the Son and the Holly Ghost.
Saint Jude is known mainly as the author of the Letter of his name in the New Testament. Probably written before the fall of Jerusalem, around years 62 to the 65. On it, Saint Jude denounces the heresies of those first times, and puts in guard to the Christians against the seduction of the false doctrines. He speaks of the judgment that threatens the heretics because of their bad life and condemn the worldly criteria, lust and "to those who by interest flatter people". He animates to the Christians to remain firm in the faith and he announces to them that false teachers will arise, that they will make fun of of the Religion, to those who God, however, has reserved the condemnation to them.
